About the Course
In this 2-hour ethics workshop, play therapists will discuss the ethics and best practices related to working with divorced and separated parents as well as clinical boundaries intended to support the child without picking sides. The presenter will discuss best practices and will also guide participants through an ethical decision making model when discussing their own comfort and boundaries with taking on these cases.
Meet Your Instructor: Dr. Ahou Line
Dr. Ahou Line is the founder of Parent Partnership Consulting and co-founder of a private practice in Dallas, a published author, former graduate professor, and speaker. Ahou has authored several peer-reviewed works and has been invited to speak on many topics including parent engagement and the multicultural implications of play therapy. Additionally, Ahou is the author of a forthcoming Routledge textbook which supports play therapists in their work with parents.
