About the Course

Through this workshop, attendees will review best practices for parent/caregiver consultations as well as engage in preparatory activities that will strengthen this skill for supporting minors and measuring progress in therapy. This training will specifically focus on the difficulty in maintaining the therapeutic relationship with the minor while also communicating with parents. The presenter will discuss in depth difficult conversations related to "risky behavior" and maintaining the therapeutic alliance between therapist/client and therapist/parent.
